Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support and assistance to children with SEN/SEMH within the classroom environment.
* Work closely with the class teacher to implement individualised education plans and strategies.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
* Assist with the development of educational materials and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Support students in developing their social and emotional skills through positive reinforcement and engagement.
* Collaborate with other members of the school staff and external professionals to ensure the holistic well-being of students.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification related to working with children in schools (e.g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools).
* Proven experience working with children with SEN/SEMH in a school or educational setting.
* Strong understanding of the challenges and barriers faced by children with SEN/SEMH and the ability to implement appropriate strategies to support their learning and development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children to help them reach their full potential.
