This business are on a mission to make sustainable, everyday products available to all. With their thriving D2C store, and a growing subscription base. They launched their first product in 2022, and have since grown to over 350,000 customers. They primarily sell directly to consumers, but you can also find them in online stores, they currently sell across the UK and US.
Due to growth, they are looking for someone to lead their growth strategy reporting to the director of growth
About the role
You will be responsible for acquisition and retention channels across markets. On channels such as Google Ads, Conversion Rate Optimisation, Email, Influencer, Affiliate, Print etc.
It’s a varied and rewarding role that ranges across core growth functions; day to day, you could be working on anything from our ad creative strategy, running CRO tests on our website, driving repeat revenue, or testing new channels. You’ll be responsible for revenue and profit targets, and will know how to focus you and your direct reports (1-2) time and energy to drive impact and success.
We want someone who has a great blend of creative and analytical thinking - someone who can get into the data to understand a problem or find an opportunity, but can also put themselves in the customer’s shoes and get creative about solutions and messaging. The right person will be able to blend tactical excellence with strategic longer term thinking. Above all, we’re looking for a growth mindset, someone who is highly driven to succeed (with a track record of doing so), a curious and fast learner, and a leader who can break down obstacles and take the initiative.
Ideal experience:
* A proven track record of driving growth through paid social, in particular via creative strategy.
* Experience in driving significant repeat revenue growth for a business, and ideally with experience in subscriptions.
* A proven track record of driving significant growth through other channels, such as Google Ads, Conversion Rate Optimisation, Email, Influencer, Affiliate, Print etc.
* A do-er. Someone who takes action, gets stuff done and finds a way around obstacles.
* A process builder - you create structures to make yourself and others around you more efficient.
* A strong people manager, with a strong record of coaching and developing juniors.
* Highly comfortable with data - can use data tools to produce detailed reports that generate real insight.
* An understanding of localisation and driving growth in different countries.
* You live by test and learn methodology.
* Experience in Ecommerce/D2C, in a startup environment, is highly desirable
