We are currently recruiting for an Activities Co-Ordinator to provide activities and engage with our lovely residents at Dovehaven Rest Home, Albert Road, Southport. We have 16 hours per week available - on a rota basis with alternate weekend availability required The working hours will be 9am - 3pm, but some eveing availability is also required. This is an excellent opportunity that offers a varied and busy workload with no two days the same About the role: We are looking for an Activities Coordinator who is caring, enthusiastic and organized. You will be required to create ideas, organize social and recreational events, both in and outside of the home, and consult with our residents to identify their social and recreational interests, generate enthusiasm and support the delivery of these activities. You will also plan and implement a wide range of activities to support the physical and mental wellbeing of our residents. Ideal candidates will have previous experience within a similar setting, ideally with groups of people who have a variety of needs and tastes. Working as part of a wider team, you will be committed to making the lives of elderly people better and focused on making our residents’ lives fulfilling.
