Key Responsibilities:
1. Adapt Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities to meet user and organisational requirements.
2. Work with designers to improve reliability, maintainability, and usability of systems.
3. Develop and analyse support solutions, including lifecycle cost assessments, failure modes, and repair strategies.
4. Prepare and contribute to technical manuals and training materials.
5. Perform human factors assessments to minimise system errors.
6. Develop obsolescence strategies and identify system hazards.
7. Support the continuous improvement of support engineering processes.
Qualifications:
1. Degree or equivalent in engineering or a technical field, or comparable experience in a high-tech or regulated industry.
2. Knowledge of Reliability and Maintainability practices, such as FMEA, reliability modelling, and fault tree analysis.
3. Familiarity with ILS disciplines, including lifecycle costing, spares analysis, and obsolescence management.
4. Eligibility for security clearance and a valid driving licence.
5. Experience with tools like PTC Windchill or Isograph is an advantage.
