Step Teachers are looking for a Year 4 Class Teacher in a Primary School in Hertford. This Year 4 Class Teacher role starts in February and they are looking for someone to take on a job share role on a Thursday and Friday. Planning and marking will be involved and they are looking for a Year 4 Class Teacher for a long term supply role for 3 months; there is potential for this to be extended. The class does have support from a TA. This Primary School strives to provide high quality education and promotes the importance and impact the Primary School education has on a student’s future. Year 4 Class Teacher Role: Possess strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum Maintain a tidy and organized classroom with easily accessible resources Collaborate effectively with other staff members both in the classroom and throughout the school Monitor, assess, and report on student progress Plan and deliver engaging lessons that can be adapted to the needs of the class Willingly comply with and effectively implement the school's policies Year 4 Class Teacher Requirements: Hold Qualified Teacher Status Have recent experience as a Primary School Teacher in a mainstream school Demonstrate good classroom and behaviour management skills Experience working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is desirable Why Step Teachers?
