UX Designer (Gov.UK Experience Required)
Remote (Workshops in Birmingham as needed)
£500 per day (Inside IR35)
1-Month Contract (Starting 17th Feb - must be available to start on this date with no holidays for the 1 month duration)
Our client is seeking an experienced UX Designer to support a fast-paced Gov.UK project. This role requires prior experience with Gov.UK prototyping kits and styling, ensuring a seamless transition into the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create wireframes and prototypes using Gov.UK design system components.
* Conduct usability and accessibility testing, ensuring compliance with WCAG guidelines.
* Work within an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with researchers, engineers, and stakeholders.
* Document design standards and best practices to support implementation.
Requirements:
✅ Gov.UK project experience (mandatory)
✅ BPSS clearance - ideally have this already and granted in last 6 months
✅ Strong Axure skills for wireframing and prototyping
✅ Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
✅ Agile/Scrum and design sprint experience
✅ Remote role with occasional travel for workshops in Birmingham
✅ No holiday leave due to project urgency
