Job Description Children, Education and Justice Services School Support Assistant Broughton High School Salary: £24,909 - £25,116 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional) Hours: 15.5 per week, 39 weeks sessional Wednesday and Thursday 8:30 - 15:30 (1 hour unpaid break) Friday 8:30 - 12:15 (15 minutes unpaid break) We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to join our busy team. The role will include providing administrative support to teaching staff across the school. The role will also involve working in our busy Welfare provision, covering duty in our busy foyer area and outdoor spaces, reception duty when required, putting up display work and manual handling. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy office environment and be willing to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of the service. They will also be competent users of ICT and have knowledge and experience of using databases, spreadsheets and word documents. Excellent communication skills and experience of working to tight deadlines is essential. Candidates may be asked to provide basic first aid and administer medication as appropriate. A suitable qualification in first aid or experience in this area along with a willingness to undertake any necessary training is desirable. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. You will be required to provide this check.
