Are you an experienced extrusion operator seeking your next challenge?
We are looking for someone skilled in operating blown film extruders, as well as lamination and slitting machines, for a combined role.
Enjoy predictable hours with Day, Afternoon, and Night shifts available—Monday to Friday, with no rotating rosters!
All shifts are open, and overtime is available once trained.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Machine Operation: Efficiently and safely operate plastic extrusion machinery.
* Process Monitoring: Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal extrusion of plastic materials.
* Quality Control: Perform regular checks to guarantee products meet industry standards.
* Collaboration: Work alongside engineering and production teams to optimise processes and solve any issues.
YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Experience: Proven experience in machine operation, specifically in blown film extrusion.
* Technical Skills: Strong understanding of machinery setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
* Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to maintaining product quality.
* Safety Focused: A commitment to upholding safety protocols and creating a secure work environment.
* You thrive on building great products and take safety seriously.
* You possess strong mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills.
* Experience with single-layer and co-extrusion will be highly regarded.
* Proven reliability and a team-oriented mindset.
* Advanced understanding of GMP and sound knowledge of OHS.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Must be comfortable working at heights.
* Willingness to complete a mechanical aptitude test.
