Responsibilities
* Implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
* Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities for children in the EYFS in a primary school setting
* Assessing and recording children's progress
* Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment
Minimum Requirements
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
* GCSEs in English and Maths, or equivalent
* Prior experience working with children in an early years setting
* Understanding of the EYFS framework
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* First Aid certification
This role involves working with young children in a primary school setting. The work may be physically demanding at times and requires standing, bending, and lifting. The practitioner may also be required to undergo background checks in accordance with safeguarding regulations.
