We currently have the following position available to work in a fast-paced logistics operation for a forward-thinking client based in Evesham.
This role would suit a candidate who is an Experienced Transport Planner in fresh produce distribution to retail distribution centers and wholesalers across the UK.
This is a full-time position based on a one weekend in three rota, 45 hours a week.
The successful candidate will be an experienced multi-drop Transport Planner. You will be expected to take responsibility for planning routes, managing drivers, and scheduling delivery times to meet delivery windows, ensuring all customers receive a first-class service.
You will be able to book customer orders, update stock systems, plan routes in the most cost-effective manner, have an excellent understanding of driver regulations, and be able to demonstrate this by managing drivers' hours on a daily basis.

12. Data inputting of customer orders is part of our day using our bespoke in-house order system. Attention to detail, with an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills, are essential for this role.
This is a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. The successful candidate must be outgoing, physically fit, and think on their feet; every day is a new challenge.
Applicants without the required qualifications or experience of working in multi-drop logistics will be automatically disregarded.
Salary is dependent upon experience.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in supply chain management or transport planning is essential.
2. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
3. Proficient in computer literacy, particularly with office applications such as Excel.
4. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams or projects.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
7. 5 GCSE's at grade C and above including Math's and English.
8. Minimum of 3 years experience in chilled distribution with multi-drops.
