With 1200+ lawyers, 300+ partners, 28 offices and 17 jurisdictions we are looking to expand our Talent Acquisition team, with the addition of a Early Talent Assistant (6 month FTC).
The opportunity for you
This role is being offered on a 6-month fixed term contract and is based in the firm's premises in Liverpool, with some travel to London expected. This opportunity is for individuals looking to undertake a placement year in a fast-paced team within a law firm. As an Early Talent Assistant within our Early Talent team, you will be responsible for providing first class excellent support and client service to the Early Talent team on all aspects of solicitor apprentice and trainee solicitor attraction activity, recruitment and pastoral care of early talent throughout their seat rotations.
Key responsibilities
Attraction
* Supporting the Early Talent Advisor for the planning and execution of attraction events with schools and university campuses as well as diversity and inclusion programmes.
* Co-ordinating the Open Days and First Year Insight schemes for prospective applicants, which are based in London.
* Supporting the creation and updating of content on social networking sites relating to early talent: apprentice and graduate pages on TW website, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.
* Supporting the Summer Vacation Programme and Solicitor Apprenticeship scheme.
* Point of contact for all student enquiries via phone and email.
* Scheduling and coordinating the logistics of assessment centres and interviews, including room bookings.
* Responsibility for the onboarding administration and offer paperwork etc.
* Supporting team with organisation of the schemes.
Training Contracts and Solicitor Apprenticeships
* Responsibility for the onboarding administration of the programmes; offer paperwork etc.
* Administering the trainee solicitor and solicitor apprentice appraisal process.
* Maintaining and updating the HR System on trainee solicitor and solicitor apprentice changes, including seat moves.
* Supporting the Early Talent Manager with the administration of trainee solicitor qualification process.
Other Responsibilities
* Maintaining key performance and diversity metrics of vacation scheme, trainee solicitor and solicitor apprentices.
* Attendance at recruitment, summer vacation and Early Talent events e.g. training sessions, inductions and social events.
* Taking ownership for all Early Talent recruitment and development related administration and accurate updating of systems.
* Processing invoices and tracking candidate expenses.
* Calendar management for the Early Talent team initiatives.
* Acting as a wider member of the Talent team.

* Strong administrative skills, to include good working knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
