Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 plus x2 yearly bonus

My client is a niche, ever-growing marketing-led company with an extensive client base featuring many leading big brands. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an additional superstar for their sales team.
This role requires someone with excellent client development skills, a sales-focused approach (but not a hard seller), and acute attention to detail. It’s a fast-paced, agile environment where you will manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This is a hybrid role, offering 23 days of holiday and two attractive yearly bonuses. It is NOT a commission-based role.
Duties:
1. Manage a portfolio of 40-60 clients made up of both agencies (advertising, PR, digital) and brands/promoters.
2. Maximise revenue potential from the portfolio through regular planned contact with client contacts (marketing and legal).
3. Use consultative selling skills to add value to client briefs – upselling and cross-selling additional services where appropriate.
4. Take ownership of client briefs, coordinating with colleagues, drafting pricing proposals, & maintaining communications.
5. Balance strategic objectives with attention to detail – from overall client objectives to the fine print of promotional materials.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a consultative sales-focused role, ideally in media, marketing, or management consultancy.
2. Exceptional communication skills: persuasive telephone, written, and face-to-face English language abilities.
3. Proven ability to handle a wide range of clients effectively at all levels.
4. Passion for quality and meticulous attention to detail.
5. Ability to expand service offerings within the existing client portfolio.
6. Genuine interest in promotions and marketing.
7. Commercially aware with experience in preparing well-thought-out business proposals.
8. Strong determination with a proven track record of achieving targets and objectives.
9. Ability to multitask, organise, and prioritise workloads while collaborating effectively with Project Managers and Legal teams.
10. Skilled negotiator capable of adding value to discussions and projects.
