Our client specialises in neurological/complex trauma and MSK physiotherapy. They are a team based in Staffordshire/Cheshire, also covering Lancashire, South Manchester, Liverpool, Shropshire, and the Midlands.
The director of the business is an experienced clinician and is highly regarded. Her mission is to deliver the highest standards in everything they do, ensuring an excellent quality 1st class service.
Due to continued growth, they now have a position for an experienced Physiotherapist to join their leadership team. The role offers a combination of working in leadership and working on your own clinical case load, this will be a 50/50 split between leadership and clinical.

Relevant degree in Physiotherapy and hold registration with HCPC
You will need significant clinical experience in neurological and complex trauma physiotherapy - ideally 6 + years of post-graduate experience in the relevant fields
Experience leading a large team of senior physiotherapists with neuro and musculoskeletal skills as well as physiotherapy assistants and students
Proven experience in managing complex cases and strategic development
Able to consult with external stakeholders
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Enabling clear, concise, and effective interaction with diverse audience
Able to travel for client visits, as required by the service
Hold a UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
Desirable:
Postgraduate qualifications demonstrating specialisation in neurology and MSK
Additional certificate in leadership
Specific experience collaborating with client following traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, CP. MS, Parkinson’s disease, complex trauma, PDOC
Specific experience working within the Personal Injury/clinical negligence Industry
Experience in developing and delivering training programmes, guidelines, risk assessments, standard operating procedures etc
The role covers a variety of key areas noted below:
Leadership - Provide strategic direction and leadership to the physiotherapy team, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and professional development.
Clinical Oversight - Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care through clinical supervision, mentoring and maintaining up-to-date best practices.
Team Management - Oversee the recruitment, development, and performance of physiotherapy team, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Client Care Coordination - Lead on complex cases, ensuring comprehensive treatment, and follow-up treatment sessions. Provide comprehensive initial assessment reports and follow up reports as required.
Quality Assurance - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of physiotherapy services, implementing continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance and regulatory standards. Checking of initial assessment and update reports, with diligence for the quality of both content and format of the report.
Stakeholder Liaison - Function as a key point of contact with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, case managers, multidisciplinary teams’ members, and other partner organisations.
Training and Education - Develop and implement training programmes to enhance the clinical skills and knowledge of our physiotherapy team.
Service Development - Contribute to the strategic development of Next Steps Physiotherapy, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement aligned with the business goals.
Salary: £46,000 - £54,000 per year, depending on experience.Hours: Offering 36 flexible hours with one day early finish and core hours will be 9.30am to 3.30pm.
