A nationally renowned, top tier practice based in Corby is seeking a Business Service Assistant Accountant due to continuous client growth.
This opportunity sits within the vibrant outsourcing team, providing clients with a tailored accounting and back off service. The Business Service Assistant Accountant is an all-encompassing role, offering exposure to management accounts, transactional accounts and one-off projects.
You'll play a key role in preparing and presenting reports and accounts to clients, providing advice on specific areas, aiding strategic business planning and identifying opportunities or threats.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide a bespoke service and assist a portfolio of clients with their accounting matters
Prepare management accounts and reports for clients including balance sheets, budgets, forecasts and P&L's
Bookkeeping, including processing of banks transactions, purchase & sales ledgers and reconciliations
Support with projects such as system integrations, presenting accounts or implementing new procedures
Assist with VAT returns, tax computations and banking
Requirements:
AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA, ACA / ICAEW or equivalent
Previous practice experience of accounts preparation for a portfolio of clients
Competent IT skills including Excel and accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc)
Sound technical application with an ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
