Our remarkable global Distribution team is responsible for delivering to our customers the products they love, efficiently, and sustainably, all over the world. We’ve made significant investments in automation technology and our E-Commerce platform, and we need digital-savvy team members to help push us even further!
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Technician to join our Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Team. This role will partner with the Quality Manager to drive the Quality Assurance (QA) agenda throughout our Distribution Centre and the wider business, to support the site operation to implement standards and, improve processes from both an operational and a team a perspective so that our product quality standards are upheld so that only defect free products reach our customers, ensuring we go above and beyond to exceed expectations
The salary for this position is £26,500 and the shift pattern and hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 16:00pm

What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include
10. Complete the standards for product quality checks and define criteria of assessment
11. Conduct process adherence audits across the site in order to support the QA compliance auditing programme
12. Review quality assurance Management Information and compile reports, highlighting potential risks and issues
13. Mentor and develop colleagues to undertake Quality Assurance investigations and root cause analysis within their areas
14. Interrogate data to identify root cause issues. Work with QA Manager to develop action plans to resolve issues, focused on permanent corrective action
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
15. An understanding of the end-to-end process of a Logistics Operation and a detailed knowledge of the functionality of warehouse management systems and warehouse control systems used on site
16. Ability, to manipulate, analyse and collate data using MS Office applications such as Excel and Power BI
17. The ability to mentor and coach others and an eye for detail, with a methodical way of working
18. Ability to prioritise their workload, adapt to and inspire change, while remaining calm in a pressurised environment
19. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence others
