A client of ours who is one of the UK'S most successful Tier 1 Contractors is currently looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join the team in Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the planning and coordination of construction projects, ensuring adherence to specified timelines and budgets.
Implement and oversee health and safety protocols on site, maintaining a secure working environment for all team members.
Supervise and ensure that workmanship aligns with the company's stringent standards and specifications.
Effectively communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project progression.
Proactively identify and address challenges that may arise during construction, offering practical and efficient solutions.
Collaborate closely with on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to foster a cooperative working environment.
Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and addressing any challenges.
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Knowledge of commercial, education, and public sector construction projects is essential.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
First Aid, SMSTS, CSCS.
Degree qualified.
