A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join us as an Engineering Administrator in supporting our Wakefield depot.
In this role you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative support for the Engineering department at the depots.
What does the role involve?
1. Working with customers to provide information and answers to their enquiries.
2. Accurately record and generate reports for the Engineering Team.
3. Compile and book MOTs ensuring that they are recorded, and certificates shared with the central Administration team.
4. Provide a comprehensive administrative support function to the Engineering Management team.
5. Prepare and record Engineering documents and information as required for the Engineering Manager/Team Leader.
6. Update the fleet management system with fleet operational and maintenance information using effective written and verbal communication and proficient IT skills.
Requirements for the role:
1. A team player who enjoys working as part of the wider team.
2. Effective written and verbal skills.
3. Ideally experience of working in partnership with Trade Unions (desirable not essential).
4. Experience in raising Purchase Orders (desirable).
5. Previous Payroll experience (desirable).
