About Alcohols Limited
Established in 1955 as a subsidiary of The Palmer Group—a private, family-owned company founded in 1805—Alcohols Limited operates both as a chemical distributor and a distillery. We have recently invested in a new state-of-the-art £23 million facility at Rugby's Europark, conveniently located just off the A5 (A5 Watling Street, Clifton upon Dunsmore, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV23 0AJ).
Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
1. Order Management: Oversee orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring adherence to quality procedures.
2. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and customers to address order-related issues, delays, and problem-solving.
3. Asset Management: Monitor and report on company property, ensuring maintenance and compliance with sales terms and customer contracts.
4. Administrative Coordination: Maintain up-to-date records through effective area and group administration.
5. Customer Engagement: Proactively liaise with existing and potential customers to gather forecasts and requirements; manage daily order reporting and call cycles.
6. Sales Support: Work closely with the Area Sales Manager to ensure timely follow-ups, pricing feedback, and resolution of customer inquiries.
7. Account Setup: Establish new customer accounts, collecting necessary information such as due diligence, credit forms, delivery requirements, and Tropos creation forms.
8. Complaint Resolution: Process customer complaints and incident reports, coordinating with ASMs for effective communication, in a timely manner.
9. Enquiry Management: Acknowledge and address sales and technical inquiries promptly, liaising with relevant departments.
10. Sample Coordination: Arrange sample requests, communicate estimated arrival times, and inform customers accordingly.
11. Pricing: Handle pricing for smaller orders (i.e polys and 1-2 drums) and, with training, manage pricing for IBCs and tankers.
12. Process Improvement: Serve as a proactive internal sales liaison, facilitating communication among stakeholders and driving initiatives to keep processes moving efficiently.
13. Business Acumen: Understand the broader business context and recognise the impact of your role on company growth.
