We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager to lead our Professional Services Department. This key leadership role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that align with client needs and contribute significantly to the company's overall success. The Senior Manager will oversee the management of teams and senior staff, develop strategic goals and initiatives, enhance client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and manage resources and budgets across various projects. Additionally, this role will focus on risk management, mentoring and coaching managers, driving innovation in service delivery, and representing the department in senior management meetings and events.
Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and manage multiple teams and senior staff. Mentor and coach managers to foster a high-performing team environment.
2. Strategic Development:
Develop and implement the department's strategic goals and initiatives. Drive improvement and innovation within the professional services function.
3. Client and Business Management:
Manage client relationships at senior levels to ensure satisfaction and retention. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth. Represent the department at senior management meetings and events.
4. Resource and Budget Management:
Oversee resource allocation and budget management across multiple projects. Ensure efficient use of resources to meet project goals and financial targets.
5. Risk Management:
Manage risks and issues across the department to minimise potential impacts.
Skills and Experience
1. Multi-tasking and Pressure Handling:
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
2. Project and Team Management:
Extensive experience in managing complex professional services projects and teams.
3. Market and Competitor Insight:
Deep understanding of market trends and competitor landscape.
4. Business Development and Financial Acumen:
Strong business development skills with a keen sense for sales and commercial awareness. Financial awareness with the capability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
5. Communication and Presentation:
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, especially at senior management levels.
