Programme Overview: Position: Graduate Teacher Training Programme Location: Bournemouth Start Date: September 2025 Salary: £21,000 to £24,000 per annum Funding: Fully funded, salaried route Duration: 2 years In the first year, you’ll gain classroom experience as a Cover Supervisor. In the second year, you’ll progress to Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and work towards your PGCE, all while staying in the same school or trust. What You’ll Do: Year 1: Work full-time as a Cover Supervisor, assisting teachers, supporting students, and leading classroom activities. Develop skills in classroom management, student engagement, and teaching strategies. Year 2: Begin your ITT, continuing to work in the same school or trust. Receive ongoing mentorship and support while working towards your PGCE qualification.
