Practice Manager- Law Firm East London- Essex- Central Line Our thriving client is a dynamic and client-focused law firm. Their practice areas include, Conveyancing, Property, Litigation, corporate law, family law. They provide top-tier legal services while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Due to increased volumes of work they are looking for an experienced and driven Practice Manager to join the team and ensure the efficient and effective operation of the practice. Based in the office EVERY day, The Practice Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the firm’s operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and supporting the legal team in delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of legal office operations. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service delivery. Financial Management: Assist with some areas of financial performance, and assist with billing and invoicing procedures. Human Resources: Supervise and support administrative and support staff. This may include hiring, some non legal training, performance management, and professional development. Client Relations: Manage client communications and ensure client satisfaction through efficient service and responsive issue resolution. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to legal regulations, compliance standards, and firm policies. Help mitigate risks through proactive measures. Technology Management: Oversee the firm’s software and systems for case management, time tracking, billing, and other operational tools. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management on potential new initiatives and help drive the firm’s growth and business development. Legal Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team, including calendar management, document preparation, and other necessary tasks. Requirements Qualified by experience, ideally in a law or Accountancy firm or legal environment UK Work permit needed. No sponsorship available Strong knowledge of law office operations, including billing, compliance, and financial management. Excellent organisational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure with attention to detail. Familiarity with legal software and technology solutions. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. A professional demeanour with the ability to maintain confidentiality and build relationships. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with legal practice management software such as Clio, Practice Panther, or similar platforms. Knowledge of legal industry trends and best practices.
