This full-time, permanent role, beginning in January, offers a fantastic opportunity for a talented educator to inspire students through the world of design and textiles. Key Responsibilities: Teaching dynamic and engaging Textiles lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5. Developing and implementing creative lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and the school’s educational goals. Regularly assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their academic development. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and contribute to the curriculum design. Staying up-to-date with the latest pedagogical approaches in Textiles education. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Design, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification. Experience teaching Textiles at secondary school level. A passion for Textiles and a drive to inspire students to reach their full potential.
