And we need you to help make that happen As our Data Quality & Improvement Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our data-driven mission. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality, integrity, and trustworthiness of our data. You’ll measure, enhance, and protect our data’s quality, enabling confident, data-driven decisions that propel NFU Mutual forward. This role is perfect for someone who excels at coaching, mentoring, and building confidence in others. Our team is still building its maturity in Data Quality so we need a leader who can offer hands-on guidance and support, helping to nurture and grow the team’s skills and confidence. You'll play a key role in advising and developing a team of 6 individuals, creating an environment where everyone feels empowered to succeed. You’ll also be responsible for implementing and driving our Data Quality Framework – setting the standards, guidelines, and procedures that define how we manage data across the organisation. With your expertise, you’ll identify risks, assess the business impact, and lead efforts to remediate issues, all while demonstrating the ongoing improvements in data quality. Collaboration will be key – you’ll work closely with Data Domain Managers, Business Data Owners, and our IT teams to drive results and continuously improve data quality processes. You’ll have the chance to influence data quality management practices across the business and grow not only your own expertise but that of the team around you.About youYou bring a wealth of experience from working as a data quality professional, with a proven track record in developing and implementing Data Quality Frameworks and strategies. Your strong technical skills, including expertise in SQL and visualisation design (e.g., Power BI), are complemented by hands-on experience with Data Quality tools such as Trillium, Informatica, or Collibra DQ. You are a natural collaborator with the ability to influence and mentor your team, fostering an environment of growth and confidence. Critical thinking and effective communication come naturally to you, allowing you to navigate complex challenges while maintaining a results-oriented approach.
