The Payroll Team in the United Kingdom (UK) is part of the Regional Human Resources (HR) Operations team and is responsible for the accurate and timely payment of Deutsche Bank’s permanent employees based in the UK, Ireland, and Sweden.
In this role you will support the payroll operation circa 8,200 records, ensuring accurate and timely processing and validating of the work in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs) and company procedures. You will be assisting with the processing together with end-to-end control of each payroll run, and of annual pay rounds and vesting share awards.

Your key responsibilities
7. Assist with the processing together with end-to-end control of each payroll run, and of annual pay rounds and vesting share awards.
8. Entering employee amendments including starters, leavers, bank detail changes, personal data, ad hoc payments/deductions, tax record amendments on the payroll system – Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) Payroll/ Automatic Data Processing (ADP) GlobalView
9. Second level support for HR Direct, responding to payroll queries from UK and Ireland employees via telephone and e-mail.
10. Validating and distributing Banker's Automated Clearing Services (BACS) salary payments each month.
11. Producing tax information on a monthly and annual basis (P45, Monthly Real Time Information (RTI) return, P60, P11d
12. Running regular and ad hoc reports from the payroll and accounts systems for HR and external auditors. General administrative tasks such as dealing with HMRC queries, assisting HR Advisors
Your skills and experience
13. Experienced payroller with the ability to perform manual pay calculations including an understanding of Tax and National Insurance.
14. Strong administrative and interpersonal skills, as role liaises with internal and external stakeholders.
15. Excellent multi-tasking, organisational and follow-up skills
16. Attention to detail.
17. Strong analytic and Microsoft Excel skills
18. SAP Payroll experience (desired)
