Friends of the Cancer Centre is a leading cancer charity in Northern Ireland, and has been supporting people with cancer and their families for over 40 years. Our work focuses on four key areas: research, patient comfort, patient care, and cancer awareness, investing £1.2 million each year into local cancer services. This work relies on the generosity of supporters to make a meaningful difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fundraising & Engagement Officer. The role is primarily located in the North West Cancer Centre in Altnagelvin, with the flexibility for some work from home. The Fundraising & Engagement Officer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to staff engagement, fundraising and donor care, and providing information to patients about the charity’s work. Part-time/job share will also be considered.
