Affinity Water is the UK's largest water-only supplier, head office is based in Hatfield and we are looking to recruit a Procurement & Commercial Operations Analyst.

As a Procurement & Commercial Operations Analyst at Affinity Water, you will play a vital role in supporting our Procurement & Commercial Operations Manager to enhance efficiency, compliance, and automation within our procurement and commercial functions. You will work with large data sets, produce insightful reports, and help implement process improvements to support our transformation journey.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Data Analysis & Reporting – Analyse procurement and commercial data, generate insights, and prepare reports for key stakeholders, including dashboards for the CFO and reports for the Executive Leadership Team.
2. Process Optimisation – Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Procurement System Administration – Maintain and update procurement systems, onboard new suppliers, and provide end-user support for Oracle Fusion.
4. Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure procurement activities align with internal policies and regulatory requirements, helping to mitigate risks.
5. Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration – Support supplier performance analysis, stakeholder engagement, and the rollout of procurement tools and systems.
6. Project Support – Assist in delivering key procurement transformation projects, tracking progress, and ensuring successful implementation.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A confident, positive, and enthusiastic team player who injects energy into the team and is eager to challenge and ask questions.
2. Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Oracle Fusion, or similar).
3. A self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying improvements and delivering results.
4. Excellent communication skills, able to engage with multiple stakeholders and explain complex information in a clear, concise manner.
5. Previous experience in procurement, commercial, or supply chain is beneficial but not essential – recent graduates with a strong analytical mindset are also encouraged to apply.

2. Hybrid role, with the expectations of a minimum three days a week in the office in Hatfield
