Employee Relations Advisor
Contract: Permanent
Location: Flexible hybrid working style with three days in the London office
Reporting to the ER Specialist, the ER Advisor will be a key part of the Employee Relations and HR business partnering team, providing ER advisory support across the UK and Ireland cluster.
The role
The ER Advisor will work closely with the ER Specialist, HR Business Partners, and the sales team. They will manage the ER caseload across the regions and support ad hoc HR project management as required.
What to expect from the role
* Provides expert advice and coaching to line managers, acting as the first point of contact for policy and ER process queries.
* Leads on triage and timely organisation of cases across divisions.
* Builds strong professional relationships with employees across all levels of the business.
* Advises, leads and supports with investigations, grievances, disciplinary hearings, redundancy consultations and other employee relations matters.
* Manages ER case load, providing advice, guidance, and investigation support.
* Provides professional and expert advice to managers on a range of employee relations matters.
* Assists with the development of scripts, FAQs and process desktop procedures for ER meetings when required.
* Works closely with line managers, providing advice, guidance and coaching in line with company policy.
* Manages personal, sensitive, and confidential information in a professional manner.
* Supports line managers with performance improvement and development matters.
* Supports on ER, legislation and DEI training for managers.
The successful candidate
* Will have a working knowledge of HR processes and procedures especially Employee relations topics.
* Have experience from retail and/or fast-paced organisations.
* Be working towards or willing towards CIPD qualifications.
