Travel Management Company - Account Manager

As a Travel Management Company - Account Manager, you’ll be part of a rapidly growing part of our business. In this role, you will be required to manage complex and challenging partnerships with external partners. You will require an eye for detail and the ability to analyse complex data and information. You’ll be required to negotiate and manage Premier Inn's standard and variable commission agreements with Regional and Global TMCs.
Location: Field Based with the ability to travel to Dunstable.
What you’ll do
1. Build and maintain effective relationships with existing Regional TMCs, Premier Inn sales team, external market professionals, and Senior Manager for Distribution and TMCs.
2. Drive revenue via Regional and Global TMC Portfolio professional and accomplished Account Management.
3. Optimise revenue from Commission Agreement investment.
4. Manage the commercial agreements with Corporate Clients using a Regional or Global TMC to book.
5. Establish connectivity and partnerships with new Regional and Global TMCs.
6. Create and maintain internal and external communications to ensure engagement, increased efficiency, and buy-in to agreed processes.
What we need
1. Ideally Account Management Experience.
2. Commercial Acumen.
3. Ability to deal with difficult negotiations and the ability to say no where appropriate.
4. Ability to build genuine rapport and trust to win support at all levels (including MD/CEO level).
5. Excellent ability to build internal relationships around key tasks.
6. Self-motivated and focused with the ability to take constructive action without relying on direction from others.
7. Passionate, motivated, and enthused. Uses this to engage others through positive emotional energy.
8. Experience of creating and maintaining communication materials to be used internally and externally.
