What we need from you: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
3+ years of experience in mobile app development
Strong proficiency in React Native and TypeScript
Experience with Expo framework and its ecosystem
Solid understanding of iOS and Android mobile development principles
Proven track record of publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Experience with version control systems, specifically git
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communications skills
Demonstrates autonomy and self-motivation, effectively managing tasks and delivering high-quality results
What the role involves: The role will assist the Programme Director and wider development team, in the development of software, websites and integrations for our clients. Duties include: Design and develop high-quality mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, and Expo
Build and maintain end-user-facing native applications for both iOS and Android platforms
Collaborate with the front-end development team to ensure consistent user experience and interface design
Handle the complete mobile app lifecycle, including building, testing, deploying, and releasing to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance
Actively participating in agile ceremonies and team meetings, contributing ideas and opinions on various topics
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year. Hours: Monday to Friday, working 37.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly between the core hours of 8am and 6pm.
