CNC Machinist,Wolverhampton, £13.82 per hour Manufacturers of precision engineered components for a wide variety of customers. They are currently looking to recruit a proven CNC Machinist. Responsibilities include: - Prepare for work to be accomplished by studying SOPs, Work Order details, machine setup instructions, drawings and parts lists, gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials. Setting up machine if trained to do so. Creating and modifying CNC programs if authorised. Machine rods, cylinders, or components, checking for any damage to material that could affect the final product before use. Verify final product quality by inspection to the appropriate procedures and frequency. Obtain First off pass off to the prevailing policy. Notifying Supervision if any defects are found. Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; calling for repairs where necessary. Complete batch cards, inspection records, record preventative maintenance, training and other record keeping as required. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. To work on your own initiative and understand the relevant SOPs/Quality Instructions/Risk Assessments/COSSH data and manufacturing processes. Fulfil training deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development. Follow all health and safety procedures and policies.
