Your Role As an Early YearsManager, you will: Building a diverse, customer focused team of child carers in a heavily customer focussed position. Creating a strong relationship with the IKEA Team, leadership team and local community. Engaging children in entertaining and educational play through a variety of activities. Ensuring the safety and security of all children attending the setting. Leading the team in planning and delivering a programme of activities, as well as developing the setting. Undertaking daily admin duties, paramount to running the setting and serving as part of the opening team for My Ohana. Communicating with fellow colleagues, clients and parents in a professional manner. Championing our values alongside those of IKEA What Were Looking For Experience working with children aged 3-11 years Minimum Level 3 Childcare or Play Worker Level 3 (pre-2014) qualification Strong communication skills and ability to engage with parents Track record of building and developing teams Ability to develop a vision for the site alongside creative programming All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
