Job summary At InHealth, we're expanding our teams and seeking an Authorised Person (Decontamination) to join our endoscopy division. As an Authorised Person, you will provide expert guidance and support across the Endoscopy modality. This position is mobile and part of a mobile contract, requiring flexibility to travel to various locations as needed. We offer a company car or a car allowance, and we cover mileage, accommodation, and food allowances when you travel to other units. A valid driving license is essential for this role. Main duties of the job What You'll Do: Oversee the Endoscopy quality management system to ensure compliance and registration with relevant standards. Actively participate in both internal and external meetings where decontamination is discussed. Attend initial mobilisation meetings from a decontamination perspective, providing advice on processes and establishing procedures that meet InHealth's and the client's needs. Interpret, receive and communicate complex technical information related to service equipment and test results, utilising internal and external quality assurance methods. Conduct quarterly audits of test results, investigate any discrepancies, and produce written reports as needed. Provide line management or appoint the CP(D). About You: A keen eye for detail with the ability to analyse and present complex data. Capable of making quick, informed decisions to enhance service efficiency. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Ideally have or maintain full IDSC membership and active status on any relevant professional registers, including IHEEM. Completed the Authorised Person (Decontamination) course at Eastwood Park or possess a similar qualification. Experience working in a decontamination setting as an Authorised Person.
