Your Role: As a Medical Science Liaison Associate, you will:
* Drive Scientific Education and Research: Establish Abbott as a trusted partner through strategic interactions with healthcare professionals.
* Influence Clinical Practices: Promote best clinical practices to drive change and positively impact patient care.
* Develop and Execute Plans: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support Abbott’s portfolio and meet shared business objectives.
* Maintain Reports and KPIs: Keep detailed records of activities and performance metrics.
* Build Relationships: Engage with key opinion leaders and manage the KOL engagement plan.
* Initiate Research Projects: Lead local research initiatives, including quality improvement programs and nutrition pathway design.
* Support Commercial Partners: Serve as a scientific resource for advisory boards, round tables, and scientific congress activities.
* Collaborate with Medical Affairs: Assist the medical affairs and research teams with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
* Experience in medical affairs, medical science liaison, or commercial roles preferred.
* Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Must live in Wales or South Wales and have a full UK driving license.
