Job summary We are seeking a compassionate, dynamic and motivated nurse to join our well established and supportive colorectal team. You will be an integral part of the team providing co-ordination and organisation of care for colorectal patients along the cancer pathway. You will need good communication and interpersonal skills and a good knowledge of the care needs for colorectal cancer patients and their carers. This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity for nurses who have experience within a colorectal cancer setting and want to further enhance their skills and knowledge within this speciality. Main duties of the job The post holder is responsible for delivering a high standard of specialist nursing care within the specialist Colorectal Cancer and Stoma Care Service and will support the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in ensuring high standards of nursing care are provided to all patients receiving care in the specialty.
