Position Description
Position Summary
This position supports the processing of student inquiries for Messiah University and helps maintain the integrity of undergraduate and graduate admissions records. Responsibilities include responding to information requests, reviewing and updating admissions records, and providing assistance to the Data Entry and Application Processor with transcript and application processing as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent

Microsoft Office Certification preferred

Microsoft Office Certification; spreadsheet management, document imaging, data entry, Experience with student information systems and/or customer relationship management systems (such as Slate)

* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Admissions Records Coordinator.
Duties
Essential Duties
* Process paper and electronic inquiries from various sources, including mail, phone, email, counselor visits, third-party entities, event registrations, and campus visits.
* Manage and process bulk inquiry lists using Excel, CRM software, and data transfer or import tools.
* Update organizational records in the University’s CRM system based on returned mail or interactions with students and applicants.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of the application data entry process to provide assistance when needed.
* Support the review of bounced emails and update admissions records accordingly.
* Assist in reviewing and correcting inconsistencies in school records for both graduate and undergraduate admissions.
* Help maintain, update, record, scan, and process student application files and transcripts for both graduate and undergraduate admissions, including both electronic and paper formats.
* Ensure consistent and reliable attendance.
Secondary Duties
* Maintain basic knowledge of Messiah University admissions process and the University community in order to channel routine questions submitted by students and their parents to appropriate staff or campus offices.
* Perform secretarial and general office duties in support of the Admissions Data Services Office processes.
* Other duties as assigned.
