You will lead your teams to deliver a service where children and young people feel safe, are consulted about their concerns, are listened to and responded to with appropriate actions.
Developing critical partnerships across the Council and with key partners, e.g. health, schools and the police, to deliver seamless services across boundaries taking a whole system approach is key to this job.
Reporting to the Head of Service, you will be responsible for oversight and management of Team Managers, Social Workers, Personal Advisors and an education advisor.

You will have a strong understanding of what best practice looks like and be passionate about inspiring and improving children’s lives, as well as the continuous professional development of practitioners. You will need to hold a social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England and be committed to working with children and young people.
