This role combines front of house responsibilities as well as general business support needs for the London office. It is a versatile position that blends client-facing interaction with general office support function activities, ensuring that role responsibilities including meetings and day-to-day operational tasks are fully supported.
The successful candidate is expected to perform all duties with a commitment to providing optimal service to clients, lawyers, and co-workers while producing a high-quality work product.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Front of House: Greet and assist clients, visitors, and internal clients in a friendly and professional manner
* Manage conference room set up
* Manage incoming telephone calls
* Manage incoming and outgoing post, including booking couriers
* Assisting business support colleagues in daily tasks
* Assisting with secretarial duties such as organising and coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, and diary management
* Book taxis and set up conference calls
* Set up and maintain filing systems
* Provide logistical support for projects
* Assisting with the planning and running of office social events and client events
* Liaising with building management and vendors
Required/Preferred Skills/Abilities:
* Candidates will ideally have at least two years’ experience working in an office environment; front of house experience in a professional services firm would be an advantage
* Strong technical knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with office software
* Ability to manage and prioritise own workload in order to meet deadlines
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong service orientation and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team
* Adaptability and flexibility as the needs of the department evolve
