We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Renewables Breakdown Engineer to join our team.
This role requires a reliable professional with in-depth knowledge of renewable energy systems, capable of managing complex problems, communicating effectively, and adapting to change. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management, a positive attitude, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service within a team environment.
Role Overview
The main responsibility of the Renewables Breakdown Engineer is to maintain and repair renewable energy installations. This includes fault diagnosis and rectification, providing technical support and advice, and ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations. Collaboration with engineering and customer service teams is essential, making communication and teamwork vital.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair faults in renewable energy central heating and hot water systems across the region.
* Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues.
* Maintain high standards of customer care when dealing with clients and tenants.
* Communicate work updates and progress, completing necessary documentation electronically and manually.
* Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records.
* Manage stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure availability of parts.
Key Requirements & Attributes
* Build strong relationships with clients and tenants through a friendly and professional attitude.
* Experience in renewable energy heating and hot water systems is essential.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Gas qualifications are desirable.
* Completion of criminal and reference checks prior to employment.
* Valid driving license.
