CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Workplace Experience Coordinator/Porter position to join our Team in Brighton.
Role Summary
The Workplace Experience Porter prime role is delivering support to the Workplace Experience coordinators team in the setup of meeting rooms and ensuring the work areas and meeting rooms are always well presented. This position is divided into two core roles: Portering and Office Ambassador.
1. Portering
You will make sure that all set ups for meeting rooms, conference rooms and the town hall are done as requested and on time. This involves arranging and moving tables and chairs as requested and managing diaries to ensure the timely set up and dismantle of all spaces. You'll make sure that the rooms are always kept in the best possible order, liaising with cleaners, facilities, engineers, and other departments as deemed necessary.
2. Office Ambassador
You will be carrying out regular floor walks to ensure the work areas, collaboration spaces, flex offices and meeting rooms are well presented, up to standard and in good working order. If colleagues raise issues with their workspace on Slack, you'll engage with them and go and visit them at their desks to assist them. You will look out for and report any maintenance issues and hazards and ensure that the 'clear desk' policy is adhered to. You are encouraged to find ways to enhance and improve the office areas, and to be more sustainable and eco-friendlier. You will also be assisting in managing lockers & cabinets and stationery cupboards and carry out monthly checks of the AEDs and First Aid Kits. You'll ensure that signage around the office is up to date and install nameplates. You'll also be providing tours to first time visitors and new staff members.

Collaborate and work closely with the housekeeping, security and maintenance teams to deliver an unparalleled experience to colleagues.
Responsible for ensuring meeting rooms, pantries, and collaborative spaces are always up to standard, including proper setup, functionality of equipment, and stocked supply inventory.
Responds to all colleague requests and complaints promptly in a friendly and professional manner. Maintains accurate records of service requests and status.
Provides coordination and support for delivery of Colleague Workplace Services.
Responsible for always maintaining awareness of the colleague workspace.
When applicable, submit maintenance requests and/or communicate with appropriate partners to address issues accordingly.
Assist and support other departments, contractors, and colleagues with ad-hoc tasks within your job remit.
To work within the CBRE company guidelines to provide the client's internal and external customers with supportive, efficient, and a professional service.
Person Specification
This is an entrance level position which would suit someone who is interested in a career in front of house or meetings and events. Previous experience is not required.
