Electrical Project Manager - Data Centres
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a long established and highly-respected Mechanical and Electrical Building Services contractor.
Working across multiple sectors including commercial, office fit out, banks, data centres, education, healthcare, retail and leisure, with typical project values ranging from £200k up to £5m, the company are a leading M&E Building Services contractor who provide a full range of Mechanical and Electrical services, from design through to installation and commissioning.
As a result of continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their Data Centres division based in Slough. (Data Centre experience is not an essential requirement).
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Reporting into the Electrical Director, you will lead and manage electrical services projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
2. Coordinate with engineers, sub-contractors/suppliers, and clients to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while monitoring progress against these benchmarks.
4. Conduct regular site visits to assess project status, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
6. Ensure all documentation is maintained accurately throughout the project duration.
Desirable Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
1. Experienced Electrical Project Manager or similar role, i.e. Electrical Contracts Manager, M&E Project Manager.
2. Data Centre experience would be advantageous but not essential.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
4. CSCS/SMSTS.
5. Relevant Electrical Qualifications.
Salary and Benefits Package:
1. Base salary: £90,000 - £105,000 depending on experience.
