We are looking for a passionate, focused Team Leader to join us at our Brand New Supported Living Service in Crewe.
ECHO Supported Living Services is a new Supported Living Service supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, including those with an autistic spectrum condition.
As the Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to make a difference to our service users and their families. You will be providing high-quality care across multiple Service Users' homes, supporting them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Your duties would include:
1. Ensuring high-quality care is delivered day to day.
2. Providing effective leadership to ensure staff understand their roles and responsibilities and are supported to deliver safe, high-quality care.
3. Contributing to the ongoing support of Service Users, promoting their rights, independence, and individuality.
4. Supporting Service Users to live a meaningful and valued lifestyle.
5. Assisting Service Users to maintain their self-care, personal safety, and physical healthcare needs.
6. Assisting with habilitation and rehabilitation therapies, including activities of daily living, household tasks, occupation, sport, social, and leisure activities.
7. Contributing to the assessment and evaluation of care plans, under the supervision of the Registered Manager.
8. Contributing to the prevention and management of behaviours that challenge, by employing positive behavioural support approaches and techniques.
9. Working in partnership with Service Users, colleagues, and other stakeholders to promote Service User engagement in involvement activities.
Key skills and experience required:
* Management experience
* The ability to work as part of a team, lead by example, manage performance effectively, and use own initiative
* Experience of working to CQC relevant legislation
* Learning Disabilities experience
* Experience of supporting vulnerable people
* Caring and supportive manner
* Honesty and integrity
Must hold a FULL UK drivers licence for this post.
