We have an exciting opportunity for a Internal Retail Sales Development Assistant to join our retail sales team. This position will play a key role in supporting the growth of the retail business by taking ownership of targeted 'smaller spend' customers. Offering excellent customer support and product advice via telephone and chat function as well as owning the lapsed customer list. Identifying and contacting customer who have not placed orders within a specific time period to understand why and promote Karndean. Working closely with Retail Business Managers and Regional Sales Managers the Internal Retail Sales Development Assistant will work closely with our INSPIRE customers, being the first point of contact for any product, delivery or customer related issues, working collaboratively with customer services to resolve any issues. Champion the use of AdVantage to targeted customers, communicating features and benefits of system and facilitating remote/online training of platform where necessary. Responsibilities: Manage and update lapsed customers list Contact lapsed customers in line with company targets Internally manage own customer portfolio of 'smaller spend' customers in line with company targets Understand potential growth opportunities in smaller retail customers, working with regional sales team were relevant Promote product development, offerings and any promotions relevant to target customers Work with marketing to offer marketing tools and support toolkits for smaller spend customers Promote the use of AdVantage to targeted customer Identify customers who do not require sales support and work closely with wider business to redistribute business (AdVantage/Trade/Distribution) First point of contact for Karndean INSPIRE customers, supporting on product, price, delivery and other queries Review and manage sample requests and follow up, ensuring all sample requests are in system and up to date Follow up on customers sample for targeted customer group Manage National Retail Strategic Partners, collaborating closely with the National Strategic Manager to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
