An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Assembler to play a key part in a new project in the production of benchtop instrumentation within a dynamic and innovative environment. This role is ideal for an experienced contractor or someone who is looking for a minimum of 3 months work with the possibility of extension. Someone with a keen eye for detail, strong hands-on assembly skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship will thrive in a role of this nature. In this role you’ll assemble mechanical components and subassemblies for benchtop instrumentation by following technical drawings and sometimes having to work without instructions and knowing when to implement relevant documentation. You’ll be ensuring parts are precisely fitted, aligned, and adjusted for optimal functionality. To be considered for this role, you will need the following skills or experience: Proven experience in mechanical assembly, ideally within a high-tech or precision engineering environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and assembly instructions. Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
