Job Title: Production Fitter.
Department: Operations.
Reports to: Production Supervisor.
Hours: Mon-Wed 0600 until 16.00 then Thurs 0600 until 15.00.
Benefits:
Overtime is paid at x1.5 on a Friday and after 6 hours paid at x2.
28 days holiday.

Summary:
The role of a Production Fitter is to build vehicle conversions to the highest standard in line with customer specification. Accountable for own quality of workmanship which may include testing, repairing and commissioning of components. Complete conversions in accordance with SBO fitting times. Be responsible for giving feedback in order to update build notes and drawings, resulting in a clear and accurate Clarks build manual. Production Fitters are accountable for following the company QMS procedure. Communicate issues to Supervisor or Team leaders and keep a clean, safe working environment.
Typical Job Functions & Duties
1. Check base vehicle matches paperwork
2. Check and report any damage to base vehicle
3. Produce vehicle conversions to the correct specification in line with the build plan
4. Complete vehicle conversion to required standards as specified by QC
5. Complete conversions in line with SBO times
6. Obtain and follow BOM's and any relevant SOP's, photos and drawings
7. Advise of any amends to the BOM
8. Advise of any amends to drawings/panels
9. Notify supervisor of potential improvements to build method
10. Complete re-work if required
11. Work as part of a team
12. Be flexible and work overtime as and when required
13. Transfer skills to other team members
14. Carry out instructions from Supervisors and team leaders
15. Help and support the Team leaders
16. Responsible for the completion of all relevant paperwork
17. Maintain a safe and clean working environment
18. Carry out duties in line with Health and Safety requirements and make supervisor aware of potential Health & Safety issues
19. Log on and off correct SFDC operation in line with company policy
20. Adhere to relevant ISO / QMS process

1. Correctly use tools and equipment
2. Have a good understanding of the conversion process
3. Have good attention to detail
4. Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all relevant specs
5. Have the ability to handle pressure and meet targets / deadlines
6. Must be flexible
