Investoo Group is looking for a dynamic International SEO & Content Specialist to join our expanding digital team. We are a prominent international financial services brand specialising in investing, cryptocurrencies, stocks, and trading. Role As the International SEO & Content Specialist you will report to our SEO Lead, and consistently maintain, optimise, and grow the rankings of pages across 23 different languages, across our two main brands. You’ll utilise a combination of keyword analysis, SERP analysis, and competitor analysis to optimise pages for top performance in their respective languages and geos. As a small, effective and lean team, we require someone who is able to roll up their sleeves and take on the day-to-day execution, while growing into & gradually taking on strategic responsibilities. No task is too big or small. You should be hungry to achieve top rankings with an OCD-like attitude to acquiring them. The role is an extremely specific one that requires excellent knowledge of content, editing, keywords, and languages. We want someone that has a passion for languages, a desire for international expansion, and a love of both SEO and content. If your career goal is to manage a large team of SEOs a’la agency style, this is not for you. Key Accountabilities Perform continued on-page optimisations to grow rankings across all languages and future languages on the website. For example: English, German, French, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, Spanish, Italian, Malaysian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Arabic, Turkish, Japanese, Ukrainian, Chinese, and Swedish. Perform detailed keyword research in any language that requires it, often using Ahrefs, competitor landing pages, Google SERPs and Google Search Console. Be open to using unconventional and creative methods for keyword research, such as Reddit, Quora, YouTube, SERPs, Perplexity, Google Trends, SparkToro, and topical maps. Update, maintain, edit, and/or provide content recommendations to improve a page's rankings in any language. Create content analysis reports in tools such as Clearscope or Surfer SEO and provide suggestions to the content teams. Manage anchor text ratios for both internal links and external links. Ensure that content is not over optimised for exact match keyword anchor text and that all internal links are natural, relevant and provide value to readers. Work with commercial and content teams to make content edits, updates and enhancements where needed. Manage general webmaster duties across all languages in service of ranking growth; fix internal links, update formatting mistakes, edit imagery, correct 404s, implement 301s, and maintain data. Conduct monthly and weekly performance reports to clearly outline key wins, key losses, and opportunities. Manage sets of keyword matrix reports on specific keyword lists in target locations and specific site content. Perform crawlability analysis using tools like Screaming Frog and Search Console to identify and fix indexing issues, redirect chains, and orphaned landing pages. Monitor Core Web Vitals and develop strategies to address page speed issues. Manage sitemaps using Screaming Frog and RankMath to optimise crawl budgets. Provide technical guidance to content teams for schema markup that can help improve the website’s EEAT. Be able to work in Looker Studio (Data Studio), creating and editing Data Studio reports, including integrating datasets from other SEO tools like Ahrefs, GA4, and Search Console. Analyse and manage canonical tags, Href-lang tags and be able to troubleshoot errors in indexation. A firm understanding of News SEO and Google News algorithms would be highly beneficial. Maintain a working knowledge of off-page SEO and link building. Work with external link building partners and digital PR agencies to provide insights and reporting. Work with the news teams to ensure fast indexation of news stories. Be able to implement schema mark up and structured data effectively. Own SEO auditing: Weekly micro SEO site audits, macro monthly/quarterly SEO audits with the ability to build a clear action plan of what is needed Monitor Google algorithm updates and advise the SEO team of any important changes Support SEO Lead and tech team with site migrations and URL mapping when required. Support the wider team efforts in any way required to ensure organic growth is achieved on both sites. Requirements Essential : A deep understanding of SEO, with demonstrable experience in the analysis, updating, maintenance, and optimising of content At least some international SEO experience working across more than one language Strong organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise and manage a large workload Being multilingual is a huge plus in several of the following languages; German, Spanish, Dutch, French any of the other languages we operate in.
