HVAC Contractors Responsible Engineer (Building Services)
Location: Old Oak Common
Salary: £90,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Working Pattern: Office-based 3-4 days per week - Hybrid thereafter
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical (HVAC) Contractors Responsible Engineer, with a solid background in the rail sector, to join our client's cutting-edge project at Old Oak Common, West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in one of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure developments, offering you the platform to apply your mechanical engineering expertise within a rail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and lead all mechanical engineering aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Please note this is a Building services position.
2. Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and other engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
3. Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems within the rail infrastructure.
4. Conduct regular site inspections, reviewing work for quality control and adherence to technical specifications.
5. Provide expert guidance on mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and other essential services.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer within the rail and building services industry is essential.
2. Strong knowledge of UK mechanical engineering standards and rail-specific codes.
3. Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple contractors.
4. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with teams and stakeholders.
5. Availability to work in the office 3-4 days per week.
