We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a simulated telephone assessment which will take place over Teams. Successful candidates will then be invited to a face to face interview. Where else would that happen? Being part of the NWAS family and NHS 111 service enhances your skills and development and makes a real difference to patients." North West Ambulance Service Clinician: I initially was looking for a change of environment, when I first applied. Once I got into the job role I found that it gave me a better work/home life balance. The job gave me the opportunity to expand on my clinical knowledge and experience, and I felt I have become a better clinician, and broadened my knowledge again. It has allowed me to put my focus back on the patient and prioritise their needs above anything else. From a nurse's perspective it's a very welcome change of pace, and a highly supportive working environment, and you can drink your brew whilst its hot!
