Post: Receptionist / Administrator
Pay: £12.07 per hour. We provide enhancements for Saturdays/Sundays and Bank Holidays
Hours: 22.5 hours per week. The service operates 7 days per week / 365 days per year. The service starts at 7.45am each day and closes at 8.15pm each evening. Flexible hours required to meet the needs of the organisation.

Role:
The post holder will work in the urgent care setting supporting the team by fulfilling the agreed tasks. The key duties include:
* Being the first point of contact for patients, visitors and enquiries.
* Booking patients into Fleetwood Urgent Treatment Centre, Wound Care and the GP Extended Access service.
* Completing a non-clinical triage with patients.
* Answering the phone and undertaking day-to-day administration tasks.
* Assisting patients using the self-check-in iPad assessments.
Educational Responsibilities:
* Follow safe working practices and comply with local Safety Policies and Procedures.
* Ensure confidentiality on all matters relating to patients and information obtained during the course of employment.
* Maintain good relationships with other members of the staff team across all disciplines.
* Contribute to the identification of own training needs and participate in relevant in-service training.
* Attend staff meetings as required.

Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:
* Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* IT skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to think laterally, seeking opportunities for improvement.
* Competent, reliable and conscientious person who can work on their own initiative and has the ability to observe confidentiality.
* Flexibility of working hours to support annual leave, sickness and the needs of the business.
Qualifications:
* GCSE/O Level English and Maths.
* EDCL or equivalent.
* NVQ in business administration or equivalent.
Experience:
* IT literate.
* Experience of working in a customer-facing/patient-facing role.
