Description
The Assembly Scheduler manages schedules within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role works with the production team to schedule work.
Responsibilities
* Schedule work orders for all nozzle assembly departments
* Review and manage ‘catch up’ stock levels
* Manage component shortages for ‘in process failure’/ material disposition report’ nozzles and reflect status in D365
* Assist in departmental capacity restraints/prioritisation, reporting issues and resolutions
* Highlight component shortages and deliveries for production
* Expediting of urgent jobs
Qualifications
* Production Scheduling/Planning experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
* Preference for Microsoft 365 or Planning software advantageous but not essential.
* Understanding of ERP systems & excellent Excel knowledge.
Skills and Behaviours
* Previous experience in a planning function, particularly with respect to manufacturing areas preferred.
* Previous experience in mass / large batch production planning and scheduling is preferred.
* Previous experience in use of Planning software or Microsoft D365 or a technical manufacturing. background would be beneficial but not essential.
Experience
* Excellent computer and administration skills.
* Must be highly motivated and able to work well to deadlines.
* Planning skills advantageous, with excellent organisational skills.
* Good communications skills with excellent attention to detail.
