The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Telephonist to join our team at University Hospital Wishaw.
The successful candidate will participate fully in the routine work of the Telephone department.
The candidate will be responsible for answering and transferring all incoming and outgoing calls over the main telephone system.

What we'll need you to bring
1. Training and or qualifications required: Numerate, literate, communication and practical skills.
2. Computer skills.
3. Telecommunications systems knowledge
4. Health and Safety
5. Fire Safety
6. Major incident knowledge.
7. Good communication skills.
It would be great if you also have
8. Computer training qualifications/ courses
9. Ability to ensure confidentiality at all times
10. Ability to work all shifts across a 24hour period and 7 days per week

This role will be based in Switchboard Department within University Hospital Wishaw.
The working pattern for this role: Flexi Shifts,5 days over 7
